Esta luz puede ser generada mediante un l\u00e1ser o un LED, y su uso m\u00e1s extendido es el de transportar datos a grandes distancias, ya que este medio tiene un ancho de banda mucho mayor que los cables met\u00e1licos, menores p\u00e9rdidas y a mayores velocidades de trasmisi\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Otro aspecto muy importante que debemos tener en cuenta, es que la fibra \u00f3ptica es inmune a las interferencias electromagn\u00e9ticas, que es algo que por ejemplo los cables de pares trenzados sufren en todos los casos y contribuyen a que se necesiten repetidores cada cierta distancia. Debemos saber que la fibra \u00f3ptica no transporta energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, solamente se\u00f1ales de luz.<\/p><p>Pero la fibra \u00f3ptica no solamente se utiliza para la transmisi\u00f3n de datos en redes, sino tambi\u00e9n para conexiones de audio de alta calidad. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n es una fuente de iluminaci\u00f3n para proporcionar visibilidad en espacios reducidos e incluso para productos de decoraci\u00f3n, por ejemplo, en \u00e1rboles de navidad y cosas similares. Por supuesto estas fibras est\u00e1n construidas de pl\u00e1stico y son de bajo coste, y tienen poco que ver con los cables que se utiliza para datos.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-63baf33 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"63baf33\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc427b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fc427b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo funciona la fibra \u00f3ptica?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ccc21aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ccc21aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Al ser cables por los que viaja una se\u00f1al luminosa, el modo de trasmisi\u00f3n no se basa en la transferencia de electrones a trav\u00e9s de un material conductor. En este caso atendemos a los fen\u00f3menos f\u00edsicos de la reflexi\u00f3n y refracci\u00f3n de la luz.<\/p><p>Reflexi\u00f3n: La reflexi\u00f3n de un haz de luz se produce cuando \u00e9ste incide sobre una superficie de separaci\u00f3n de dos medios y se produce el cambio de direcci\u00f3n de la onda que la lleva a tomar una direcci\u00f3n con un \u00e1ngulo igual al de incidencia. Por ejemplo, si el haz luminoso incide en un \u00e1ngulo de 90 grados sobre una superficie, este rebotar\u00e1 en direcci\u00f3n contraria, esto es lo que pasa cuando nos colocamos frente a un espejo. Si en otro caso el haz de luz incide sobre una superficie con 30 grados, el haz saldr\u00e1 rebotado con esos mismo 30 grados.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Refracci\u00f3n: en este caso es cuando se produce un cambio de direcci\u00f3n y velocidad en una onda al pasar de un medio a otro. Por ejemplo, es lo que vemos cuando la luz pasa del aire al agua, veremos la misma imagen, pero en un \u00e1ngulo diferente.<\/p><p>Mediante estos dos fen\u00f3menos, la luz se ir\u00e1 transmitiendo a lo largo de cable de fibra hasta llegar a su destino.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-76ce68a elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"76ce68a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"809\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/tecplan.com.gt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/fibra-optica-04.jpg\" class=\"attachment-large size-large wp-image-5987\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tecplan.com.gt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/fibra-optica-04.jpg 809w, https:\/\/tecplan.com.gt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/fibra-optica-04-100x100.jpg 100w, https:\/\/tecplan.com.gt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/fibra-optica-04-600x593.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 809px) 100vw, 809px\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7d6a21 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-child\" data-id=\"b7d6a21\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1db66f4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1db66f4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Tipos de fibra \u00f3ptica y conectores<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3314af3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3314af3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ya sabemos c\u00f3mo funciona, pero a\u00fan no sabemos la forma en que se transmite la luz dentro de estos cables. En este caso debemos distinguir entre la fibra monomodo y la fibra multimodo.<\/p><p>En la fibra monomodo, solamente se transmite un haz luminoso por el medio. Este haz ser\u00e1 capaz de llegar, en el mejor de los casos hasta una distancia de 400 Km sin el uso de un repetidor, y se utiliza un l\u00e1ser de alta intensidad para generar este haz. Este haz es capaz de transportar hasta 10 Gbit\/s por cada fibra.<\/p><p>En la fibra multimodo en cambio, se puede transmitir varias se\u00f1ales de luz por un mismo cable, que son generadas por LEDs de baja intensidad. Se usa para transmisiones de m\u00e1s corto alcance, siendo adem\u00e1s m\u00e1s baratas y f\u00e1ciles de instalar.<\/p><p>En cuanto a tipos de conectores de fibra \u00f3ptica, podremos encontrar los siguientes:<\/p><p>SC: Este conector es el que con mayor frecuencia veremos, ya que se utiliza para la transmisi\u00f3n de datos en conexiones de fibra monomodo. Tambi\u00e9n existe una versi\u00f3n SC-Duplex que b\u00e1sicamente son dos SC unidos.<\/p><p>FC: este es otro de los m\u00e1s utilizados y tienen un aspecto similar a un conector de antena coaxial.<\/p><p>ST: tambi\u00e9n es similar al anterior con un elemento central de unos 2,5 mm el cual est\u00e1 m\u00e1s expuesto.<\/p><p>LC: en este caso el conector es cuadrado, aunque se mantiene el elemento central de igual configuraci\u00f3n que los dos anteriores.<\/p><p>FDDI: es un conector de fibra d\u00faplex, es decir, conecta dos cables en lugar de uno.<\/p><p>MT-RJ: Tambi\u00e9n es un conector d\u00faplex y no se suele utilizar para fibras monomodo.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es la fibra \u00f3ptica?
