The Garmin inReach Mini 2 is a Compact satellite communicator designed for outdoor enthusiasts, which offers features such as two-way messaging, SOS capability and global tracking. It is lightweight and durable, making it suitable for hiking, camping, and other off-grid activities. The device allows users to send messages, post on social media, and communicate with others in the field. In an emergency, it can send an interactive SOS message to Garmin's 24/7 emergency response coordination center.
The inReach Mini 2 also includes a MapShare feature, which allows users to share their location with friends and family. In addition, it has a new user interface with a higher resolution screen, a digital compass for accurate heading information, and a Breadcrumb Trail feature for saving routes.
